1. Website owner

In compliance with what is established in Article 10 of Spanish Law 34/2002, of 11 July 2002, on the legal regime for Services of the Information Society and Electronic Commerce, we inform visitors that this website is owned by INSTITUTO INTERNACIONAL DE MARKETING Y NEGOCIOS, S.L. (from now on, IM).

IM is duly registered in the Commercial Registry of Barcelona under Volume 40428, page 175, section B368098, Inscription 1.

2. Accessing the website (www.internacionaldemarketing.com)

Accessing IM’s website entails the acceptance of these conditions, along with the conditions contained in IM’s Privacy Policy. In the event of not agreeing with one of the aforementioned conditions, use of the current website must cease.

Certain pages that comprise IM’s website (the Virtual Campus) are exclusively available to students, who enter by providing a username and password that have been previously assigned to them during the enrolment process. Users who are not enrolled students can only access the public sections of the website.

Additionally, the user must make proper and diligent use of the website. As a result, the user must not use the website to perform unlawful activities, activities which are contrary to generally accepted good conduct or the established public order, with illicit purposes which are prohibited or detrimental to the rights and interests of others. IM declines all liability derived from the user’s use of its website with said unlawful purposes.

Function and content

IM reserves the right to implement, at any moment and without prior warning to the website’s users, any updates and modifications it considers appropriate in the information contained in the website as well as in the site’s structure. Likewise, IM reserves the right to make changes in the conditions required to access the web portal.

Similarly, IM is not responsible for any potential website malfunctions, as it is not able to guarantee the continuous correct operation and availability of the website. In the event of a malfunction, IM will undertake all necessary actions focused on solving any sort of errors as soon as possible.

IM informs users that in order to correctly view certain website content, they must possess specific software for the correct visualization of documents. With regard to the Virtual Campus, IM guarantees its full functioning on computers and/or mobile phones with the following browsers: Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari. Although the Virtual Campus may function on other devices or browsers, IM cannot guarantee its perfect operation. IM is currently working to adapt the Virtual Campus to all current and new technologies.

Acceptance of the cookie policy

The use of the present website implies that the user gives their consent to the use of cookies, in the terms and conditions established in the current Cookie Policy, notwithstanding any deactivation and elimination measures that may be applied.

3. Intellectual and Industrial Property

IM is the owner and/or licensee of all the content in the present website. This includes images, videos, graphic designs, blog posts, texts, logos, and all sorts of data, as well as the website's source code, design, and structure.

IM has the exercise of the exclusive rights of reproduction, distribution, modification, and communication of content, as well as the rights of exploitation in any of its forms. All the content contained in the website is protected by laws governing intellectual and industrial property. The fact that IM makes the website publicly available for use, consultation or download does not imply in any case the transfer of rights over the intellectual or industrial property of the aforementioned materials or content.

It is strictly prohibited to visualise, download and print the website’s content for advertising or commercial purposes, or for its distribution, public communication or modification and, in general, in the cases in which such acts are incompatible with the purposes of this website. For any other purpose, the user must request written consent from IM, and must cite the source of information. Even in such cases, the logos, graphics, images, icons, etc. that are part of the website cannot be used separately from the text they accompany or the rest of the images and graphics they are a part of.

IM reserves the right to exercise legal action against users who violate or infringe intellectual and industrial property rights, including requesting compensation for damages and losses caused. Likewise, the user is obligated to compensate IM for any damage or loss caused by incorrect use of the website’s content.

Any information website users may provide such as suggestions, proposals, etc., will be regarded as free of charge. Therefore, we request users to refrain from providing any information that does not meet this criterion.

4. Responsibility

Accessing this website and using it properly is the exclusive responsibility of the user, and as such the user accepts that accessing and using the web portal is performed under their sole and exclusive responsibility.

Because of this, IM will not respond to any possible damages or losses that may arise from the user’s access or use of the information, including possible damage to the user’s computer system (hardware and software), archives or saved documents, as a result of a computer virus, improper browser functioning, or the use of outdated software.

Pursuant to Spanish Law 34/2002, of 11 July 2002, on the legal regime for Services of the Information Society and Electronic Commerce, Spanish legislation will apply to any controversy which might arise. In any case, the user will be responsible for providing truthful information. IM will reserve the right to exclude registered services to any user who has provided false or inexact information, notwithstanding any other legal actions this may incur.

5. Participation in forums, chats, social media, and virtual communities

IM is not responsible for the opinions shared in interactive online spaces such as forums and chats. Messages published in these spaces solely represent the opinions of their authors and not the website’s administrators or moderators (with the exception of messages published by them).

When signing up to access these spaces, users agree to not publish any materials which may be considered abusive, discriminatory, obscene, vulgar, violent, threatening, or any other comment which violates current law. Likewise, users agree that IM reserves the right to delete, edit, move or close down any messages the centre may consider inappropriate or irrelevant.

6. Jurisdiction

Should any controversy arise regarding access or use of the web portal, users of IM’s website shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of Barcelona, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may be applicable.

Likewise, as IM in adhered to Confianza Online and therefore follows the association’s Ethical Code, in the event of controversies regarding contracting and online advertising, data protection and protection of minors, the user will have access to Confianza Online’s claims system, consisting of mediation and arbitration services.
